Questions about purchasing a Richard Rothstein rug

Where can I see these rugs in person?

Our main showroom is in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, just 10 minutes from Philadelphia, 90 minutes from New York City, and 120 minutes from Washington, D.C. Addresses and maps.

Additionally, we have by-appointment-only locations in Haddonfield, New Jersey, 1016 Madison Ave, New York, New York, Lexington, Massachusetts, and Nantucket.

Please note: we are the only source in America for our rugs. Our rugs are exclusive to us and only available through us.

Is shipping really free or is it just factored into the price?

Yes, shipping is free within the contigious United States and, no, it is not factored into the price. The price for the rugs is the same whether purchased online, over the phone, or at one of our locations.

Do you ship rugs worldwide? If so, is shipping also free?

Yes, we ship rugs worldwide. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of international shipping, we cannot offer free shipping to destinations outside the continental United States.

The cost to ship outside of the continental United States is approximately 10% of the purchase price. Please contact us for more information.

How long will it take to receive my rug?

If the rug is in stock, and you live within the continental United States, you should receive your rug within approximately two weeks from the date we receive your order.

If the rug is not in stock, you should receive your rug in approximately 24-36 weeks from the date we receive your order.

What is your return policy?

We have a 14-day, no-questions-asked, no-restocking-fee, full-refund return policy on all of our rugs.

We also pay for return shipping within the continental United States.

Should I use a rug pad? If so, which one?

Yes, we strongly recommend using a rug pad, a thin one, and the only one we recommend and sell is Rubber Anchor, specifically Rubber Anchor II. (More rug dealers, galleries, and museums use Rubber Anchor than all other pads combined.)

Soon, you will be able to purchase Rubber Anchor II online during the rug checkout process. In the meantime, please contact us to order a pad with your rug.

If I am starting a room from scratch, should I purchase the rug first or last?

You should purchase the rug first. The rug sets the tone for the room, both in color and in style. Plus, it is always easier to find paint and/or fabric that matches the rug than it is to find a rug that matches paint and/or fabric.

Do you sell wholesale to designers, decorators, architects, and others?

For quantity orders, yes. Please contact us for more information.
