When we hear the words "Lesghi rugs", most rug lovers think of the beautifully colored, multi-pointed star designs found on some Caucasian rugs. This appealing design has had widespread distribution in the Caucasian rug weaving region for over 200 years.

Lesghi rugs may have either high or low pile and, in the Caucasian rug tradition, use bold rich colors.
