Heriz Rugs

Heriz rugs often feature an 8-pointed central medallion called an Heriz medallion, but many Heriz rugs are made in an all-over branching floral design. True Heriz rugs are made with the symmetric knot favored by Azeri Turk weavers, not with the traditional Persian asymmetric knot. Heriz rugs are made in a number of villages and in a variety of designs usually in the traditional Heriz colors of soft reds, rusts, yellows, blues and greens on an ivory ground. Rest assured we make only museum-quality Heriz rugs, and will only associate our name with rugs of the finest quality and artistic merit. As always, we are the only source for true custom Oriental rugs.

We have a wonderful slideshow highlighting how our Heriz rugs are made.
